General Manager, Wireline Logging

General Manager, Wireline Logging – I have been appointed by an Aberdeen based Well Services business to support them with the appointment of a General Manager to run the Eastern Hemisphere of their Wireline Logging business. A newly created position reporting to the CEO, this is an exceptional opportunity for a business development professional who has a solid background in operational management to take this business forward.

• The role requires a 50/50 balance between being a “Hunter” (driving new business and market penetration) and a “Guardian” (protecting existing accounts and ensuring operational excellence).
• The GM holds full P&L accountability and is responsible for leading the modernisation of the business through effective change management.
• Full responsibility for the Profit and Loss of the business unit, including setting and delivering annual revenue budgets as well as Gross Margin, Operating Margin and EBITDA
• Own the business case for all Capital Expenditure (CapEx); responsible for delivering the Return on Investment (ROI) for assets and technology differentiators.
• Drive strategies to increase market share by region and service, identifying and pursuing new revenue streams.
• Manage the sales team, set individual targets, and provide accurate monthly/quarterly/annual sales forecasts.
• Actively network and build relationships with prospective new customers to grow the sales pipeline.
• Lead the preparation of high-quality tenders, bids, and proposals to maximize award success.
• Ensure the retention of existing business by developing long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Oversee the strategic deployment and utilization of assets to maximize operational efficiency and return on investment.
• Oversee the Service Delivery Manager Maintenance and Logistics Supervisors to ensure efficient deployment of resources and equipment readiness.

You will need to come from a Wireline Logging background with a strong commercial and operational background to be considered for this position. Only candidates right to remain and work in the UK will be considered.
